Our goal with the Myfirstmobile video was to create a visually engaging animation to accompany and represent information about the Myfirstmobile Programme. The animation should be seen as a visual aid to the information contained in the session plans; the animations show the potential implications of owning a mobile phone and the benefits of the Myfirstmobile programme to understand this and how a young person can stay safe online.
The Video is narrated throughout by young people, this was a choice made to represent the young people that this subject matter affects. It also gives the viewers the sense that it will be these young people that the Myfirstmobile programme will benefit.
Video Animation created and produced by Charlie Smith, Original Artwork by Marcus Branston and Script written by Adam Whitwham. Narration by Y12 Students at the Creative and Media Studio School and Y7 Students at Netherhall High School, Netherhall Learning Campus Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
At the Creative and Media Studio School we strive to ensure our Students are ready for the real world of work whether their next destination is University or Apprenticeship, gaining enterprise and employability skills is key. All students are encouraged to work to industry standard levels using our professional kit and working with Tutors who have an industry background. Working on projects with local, national and international businesses gives students a real sense of professionalism, working to client briefs and meeting real deadlines equips them with not just the technical knowledge but the softer skills of organisation, team work, leadership and communication to name a few.
